In December 2017 prior to the ACTE Vision Conference, NASBE leadership organized the first Business, Marketing & Information Technology Collaborative Summit as described in this event flyer.  Listed below are the Collaborative Summit outcomes:

  • A working document was created to develop targeted short-term and long-term actions steps that focused on three areas.

      • Establish national BRANDING

      • Development of NEW TEACHER INDUCTION MODEL - NASBE supports the development and implementation of the BeMe Campaign.   The mission of BeMe Campaign is to empower and encourage teacher to recruit students to the teaching profession.

      • DATA COLLECTION & ANALYSIS

  • A double breakout session was scheduled to be held at the 2018 ACTE Vision Conference and is open to all ACTE registered attendees.  The NASBE executive board is committed to working with organizations who previously attended the Collaborative Summit to further develop targeted actions steps with the feedback provided during the breakout session.

  • In 2019, another breakout session was held at the  ACTE Vision Conference and was open to all ACTE registered attendees.  This event was facilitated by Kelli Diemer with guidance from our NASBE Executive Committee and support from our honorary members who were able to attend.

In 2020, this collaborative approach has led to the develop of the Business Administration Education Alliance.  NASBE looks forward to sharing more about our continuing participation as a co-founding organization.
